This is a tuition-free opportunity for 10 highly gifted musicians to receive intense chamber music coaching with the Miami String Quartet and festival artists, to perform live on KPR and be featured in their own scheduled performance during the Festival.

Pre-formed groups and individuals
may apply

Application and recording due by 

March 15th for priority consideration.

                              FESTIVAL SCHOLARS                             

Heartland Chamber Music Festival has launched an exciting NEW tuition-free opportunity for 10 highly gifted musicians.  Those awarded will receive intense chamber music coaching with the Miami String Quartet and festival artists, perform live on KPR, and be featured in their own scheduled performance during the Festival in Yardley Hall!  Both pre-formed and individuals may apply by March 15th for priority consideration.  

Our exciting 9-day Festival features chamber music, orchestra and master classes taught by renowned musicians from all over the world with performances by students, faculty and guest artists.  We are proud to continue our summer partnership with the Performing Arts Series, Arts Education Program at Johnson County Community College!
